Dr. Moti Freiman

TecH MRC's Academic Director and Head of the Technion Computational MRI Lab (TCML)

Dr. Moti Freiman is the Academic Director of the Technion Human MRI Research Center, and an Assistant Professor at Technion’s Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, where he founded and leads the Technion Computational MRI Lab (TCML). His research focuses on utilizing deep-learning algorithms and deep-neural-networks to acquire and analyze MRI data for diagnosing and characterizing human diseases such as heart disease, brain tumors, and irritable bowel diseases. He has prior experience as a staff research scientist at Philips Healthcare and an Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Freiman has received multiple grants and awards, authored over 40 papers, and holds several patents and patent applications.
