Dr. Firas Mawase

Head of the Neurorehabilitation and Sensorimotor Neuroscience Lab at the Technion Faculty of Biomedical Engineering

Dr. Firas Mawase is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He holds Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and completed his postdoctoral training in the Departments of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Neuroscience at John Hopkins University School of Medicine. Mawase’s lab uses tools from behavioral and computational neuroscience and functional imaging of the brain to discover the neural control of movement in health and disease.
